1981 saw Constable Hawcroft and Inspector Newsham responding to a couple of youths attempting to steal a vehicle on LOCKWOOD STREET in Low Moor, Bradford.

A tragic twist of events saw Inspector Newsham with serious injuries, whilst Hawcroft paid the ultimate price.
